Muscle Monday

We are in the midst of the holidays now.

Thanksgiving just under our belt and now Christmas just around the corner.
I know that so many of us are going to have to workout really hard to keep the pounds from sneaking on.
Those big ol meals and cocktails and happy hours and oh...you know....food!

So time to pay attention to that stretch, pull and bend.
Working out our waist lines in many ways other than getting stuffed! Now we must make it a knock out!

So how do you plan on staying in shape?

You know how it goes.
Stuffed with all that food on the holiday.
And all the time it took to fix things up.
Then to clean up afterwards.

Well we worked our lil manicured nails to the ground.
So now we are stopping to repair and regroup.

Two Day Twist

Well Monday popped in and popped out for us. So now on Tuesday we will twist the two days

together. Can you go for a two-for-one special? But we can not help it....not to be laying the blame anywhere. Just that we were doing Mistress Merry's bidding.
You know how that lady can be when she is in charge. Crack that whip, she does!

So our efforts have been in finding the perfect Bloody Mary for the holidays. And dang if we have not had to drink a few to find out just which one's we like. So who can blame us for missing a lil think like keeping up with our duties?

Well, being the lazy and just want a quick drink sorts we are, we started with an array of already made up mixes. Then we had to pop on in some homemade mixes once we were quite oiled up. And even though it was fun to putter around in the kitchen with our lil bar set, we agree a quick drink is better than a science experiment.

SO our lil choice is to drink up and go for a bold and spicy mix. And we decided to keep trying out different mixes. Thus, on to the Bloody Mary Mix of the Month Club! (Yeah it is a real program!)

Weekend Whoopie

Well all those hot models sporting the looks of New York Fashion Week off of Project Runway Season Finale sure had me glued to my seat. Top that off with the 2009 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show and it was a catwalk extravaganza.

Smoking Hot Thursday

Today is the Great American Smokeout 2009, the American Cancer Society's annual

effort to get smokers to quit for a day in the hopes that it will convince and enable them to quit permanently. I am not sure this will work for Mistress Merry! You see she loves her smokes. Looking all glamorous with her lite up wand...adding mysterious gestures as she speaks. But!

I will see if she could go a day without her cigs. Of course there is also the new E-cigarette. So if you must puff you will not harm those around you. I may not be a fan of smoking like Mistress Merry. But I do have to say it is her choice. Maybe I will get her the new E-cigarette with one of those long holders for her Christmas stocking.

I have to give the 'gumbas' to Sharon Stone! And to tell the truth if I, Quite Contrary, had the ta-tas that Sharon has! Whowzers! I would be posing topless too!

At 51 yrs of age Ms. Stone decided to pose for Paris Match. And even though many are ranking her slightly less, I think if you got it and wanna flaunt it......well Go For IT!

Weekend Un-Wrapped

In the news still is Carrie Prejean and her sex scandal of the day. The former Miss California USA who raised such a fuss over gay marriage has had some skeletons unceremoniously thrown out of her closet. Long story short, this gal has made some very poor choices.

The thing that ruffles my feathers about this has nothing to do with whether or not you support

gay marriage. My issue is that this woman is NOT a good role model for girls. I am glad she is no longer Miss California USA because I don't want my kiddos to grow up thinking posing half nude and getting it on in a video is a good choice to make. Sure, many of us have made big time mistakes in high school, but we are lucky enough to not have these things spread all over the national media. My thinking is that if you know someone can dig up this kind of dirt on you, take your happy butt out of the limelight and shut up. I can see saying something along the lines of "Please learn from my my mistakes, think about your actions" then get the hell out of the spotlight. I'm not thinking that writing a book and taking on speaking engagements was the best decision for Ms. Prejean.

What are your two cents?

Yes, we are a bunch of women running a semi naughty blog full of scandalous news and semi-clad babes. But, we never said kids should behave like us or even read the stuff we write. The only time we are in the spotlight is when a hubby asks what we want to do today, lol. So, do I consider us hypocrites? Hell no! We are just opinionated gals who have a dash of a wild and naughty streak!

Whoopie Weekend

Time for us to keep up our health and work out with our Sexercise.

Oh that sounds bad but it is really just making sure we have our Kegel muscles working.

So, last night over dinner I was telling the family about a recent product review I had done. I was asked to review these frozen fruit snacks that were in a cone shaped container. They are made so you put pressure on the end of the cone to push the frozen goodness up and out of the container. I was telling them that the product was frozen quite hard and when I squeezed on it the bottom part exploded and goo squirted all over my shirt. By the time I finished speaking, the adults were turning red and barely breathing and laughing so hard they turned red! It's official; all my family have dirty minds!

Thirsty Thursday

Having just left October I am still in the mood for a Beer Fest! I know that it will be awhile til St.

Pats Day and green beer. So I just have to find a way to quench my thirst.

And I think I have found holiday cheer in good ol' Texas. Spoetzl has announced a new winter seasonal beer called Shiner Holiday Cheer.

Brewed with Texas peaches and roasted pecans this is an an Old World Dunkelweizen. The malty flavors of this dark wheat ale are enhanced through the use of malted barley and wheat. And Kräusening ensures a smoothness that makes the subtle peach and pecan flavors all the more satisfying.

Do you enjoy martinis? I especially love a nice, dry one myself. If you like them the way I do then you are sure to enjoy this recipe for a perfect Dirty Martini. The recipe is super simple and the end result mouth watering. If you aren't a big gin fan, you can easily substitute vodka. Enjoy!

A sexual smorgasbord is exactly what PA tax dollars went towards. Some police there used some unusual practices to catch some local prostitutes. Read the whole story here.

I always thought that police picked up prostitutes by arresting them after being solicited. Sounds like their informant who came to them after being offended by the prostitute's offer got over it really quickly. I mean from offended to engaging in sex acts with the woman in question? Please! And getting paid for his "time and trouble"! Doesn't that make him a gigolo? ;-)
